Hero Shields

For most of us here in Canada, we have spent the last six months practicing “social distancing” and for some, “social isolation.” Everyone has a role to play in getting us all through this, and here at Aroh Inc. and MyActivityBoard, we are working diligently to make sure that we are doing our part as COVID-19 continues to evolve.

Six months ago we really didn’t know what a face shield was, how it was made or how significant it is in protecting Health Care professionals. Today we are making hundreds of them a day. It turns out that the equipment you need to make signs is also the equipment you need to make face shields - or as we like to call them, Hero Shields - so we are continuing to use our equipment and team to make them.

The design is based on Health Canada’s guidelines to ensure their safety.  We have been able to source local suppliers for the materials needed, which enables us to produce a consistent supply as well as keep costs as low as possible.
